Hello friends..
well i had a big prob downloading files from
Megaupload.. but now there is a hack for this.
u don't have to install tat stupid toolbar nor wait for hours.
if ur a Firefox user u can download as soon as u punch the link in.
it will not ask u to download toolbar but directly take u to the code..

Here is a crack/trick for Megaupload which stops the message "All download slots... assigned to your country are in use..." from appearing while downloading a file. UPDATED 13/11/2006
Only with Firefox 2.0 (cos i have tested on mine)
Here is solution:

-Go to address bar and type: about:config

-Search for general.useragent.extra.firefox

-Double click on it
-Change the default text with this: Firefox/2.0 MEGAUPLOAD 1.0

-Start Downloading witout any Toolbar

This is so easy and within seconds u can resume ur download from Megaupload.

i hope now no users will have probs downloading from der.

njoy downloading

For Internet Explorer, Maxthon, Anvant Browser:
Start-->Run-->Regedit-->OK

In Registry Editor window:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mcft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\5.0\User Agent\Post Platform]
Right click Post Platform-->New-->String Value--> Type "Alexa Toolbar"

Restart PC. Done!
Enjoy!

Note: For IE 7.0 the "Post Platform" will located at:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mcft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Internet Settings\User Agent\Post Platform]

hey commander i have already set this option in the firefox. But the megaupload is giving us new problem that is from 10:30 it displays the file to download but it doesn't allow you to download because the bandwidth is assigned to premium user.

I tried and it works. The stupid message "All download slots... " is gone but I have to wait for 1 minute for the download button to appear. Is this normal?

THIS IS THE 1ST TIME I MANAGE TO DOWNLOAD FROM MEGAUPLOAD.
